FEATURE FILM PROGRESSION
As intended, we are working very hard to:
1. FINALISE SHORT VERSION FOR FESTIVAL & MARKETS RELEASE this year and next 2014-15
2. PROGRESS DEVELOPMENT AS FEATURE FILM
After taking in much feedback from all of you who kindly offered it (see some of the COMMENTS received) and many still to be added, we can announce that a new short version will be soon released for festivals.
MERCY as feature film script is in progression too. At present in Pre-pre-production via Bath Spa University’s MA in Feature Film Making. Here we aim to be on production by 2015-16 aiming to have an ‘Offline version’ by 2016.
Keep checking our links for further news.

A word of apology to the youngster who found it upsetting. I was very sorry when I found out and will love to talk to you. Though we had stated it was a 12A film some parents felt it was okay to bring younger ones to the screening. Most children coped really well and I had a chance to meet many of them and hear their thoughts after the screening but I shall make it clearer next time that we do mean 12A.

Young Carers – How I feel
‘MERCY’ explores themes everyone in the creative team care deeply about. That of good mother’s-bad mother’s love, lone parents, young carers, looked after children, adoption of fostered children and its connection to unprivileged families and mental health. We believe this is a subject presently in need of an artistic response, one that can engage the general public as much as the professionals and bring about further discussions and awareness. Our first stop is looking into the childhood experiences of young carer who ends in foster care.
But who is a Young carer? See this animation link here.
